as we had expected, Sasuke finally meets his destiny to face his blood brother, Itachi. the battle was furious that both gave the best of them to win. during the battle, Itachi told Sasuke that he wants to take Sasuke's eyes as spare of his own eyes. however, Itachi was already in a bad shape of his previous wounds. Sasuke was barely alive when Itachi died right in front of him, left the mystery in silence. Sasuke believed he had done what its worth to fight for, yet knowing the truth behind Itachi's real sacrifice and affection.
Tobi was only playing with Naruto-tachi because he's not planning to be serious at the first place. in the mid of the battle game, Zetsu came to tell him that Itachi had died and Sasuke won. Naruto-tachi was shocked to hear it, yet Tobi took it lightly since it went as he predicted. Tobi decided to stop the game and leave to retrieve Itachi's body. he also intended to take Sasuke with him for his next plan. Naruto-tachi tried to get there before Akatsuki but they were too late, Sasuke has already been taken away by Tobi.
Sasuke awaken and find himself in a place he didn't know with someone he didn't expect. Tobi was planning to show his real identity by using his sharingan yet Sasuke eyes suddenly turn to mangekyou sharingan and attacked him with Amaterasu. Sasuke was shocked either, Tobi noticed that Itachi transffered all of his eyes techniques before he died in order to protect Sasuke. Tobi was trying to tell the truth about Itachi's life but Sasuke was hard to believe it after seeing what Itachi had done to the whole Uchiha clan back then.
but Tobi finally made him to believe his story. he told him from the very beginning, when two of the strongest clans in the past, Uchiha and Senju joined to build a village which later known as Konohagakure. Uchiha Madara, the founder of Uchiha clan wasn't agree with the idea yet all of his men were tired of war. Madara thought it was only a cunning plan fron Senju clan to get rid off them, yet no one believed in him. when the head of Senju i.e. Senju Hashirama was chosen as Shodaime the first Hokage, Madara abandoned Konoha and formed Akatsuki on his own.
Madara took his role as an avenger and attacked Konoha alone, but he was defeated and died, so as everyone believed. in Konoha, Uchiha clan were made into Military Police, yet it was only a way to keep eyes on them easily. some of the clansmen noticed it and plotted for a rebellion. Konoha elders decided to plant a spy on them and it was Itachi. however, Itachi itself was ordered by his dad, Fugaku, to join ANBU as his spy. in other words, Itachi was a double agent. Itachi was pretty much in a difficult position that either he had to choose between Konoha or his clan.
the time was running out, Konoha elders wanted to assassinate whole Uchiha clan, and the one who was chosen for this dirty job is none other than Itachi. more than anyone ever known, Itachi had the love of peace. he knew if he lets his clan to start a civil war in Konoha, it would lead into a bigger stake, the 4th world war. so he made the hardest decision i.e. genocide of Uchiha clan. yet he didn't finish the mission cuz he still left one person alive i.e. his own brother, just because he loved Sasuke the most.
Itachi pleaded with Sandaime to keep Sasuke safe from Danzou and other elders, also to keep the truth hidden from Sasuke forever. he also threated Danzou that if he lays hand on Sasuke, he will tell everything to know about Konoha to every hostile nations in the world. nevertheless, Itachi said a different thing to Sasuke. he wanted Sasuke to hate him that Sasuke will become strong enough to get a new power from him. everything went well as he planned, Itachi died on Sasuke's hand for the love of a brother. yet Sasuke is not willing to continue his brother's plan of peace.
all the stories about Itachi made Sasuke's grudge upon Konoha grew bigger. he is now willing to help Akatsuki to take down Konoha together. with his team, he formed TAKA (hawk) as a part of Akatsuki and their first mission is to hunt down the jinchuuriki of Hachibi (eight tails) in Raigakure. while Akatsuki will hunt down the last bijuu i.e. Kyuubi. Taka left without knowing who is their target. they might never expected to meet a middle-aged guy with eight swords and terrible rap-rhyme talk. yet they should not underestimate Killer Bee cuz he has control on Hachibi. after a furious duel the Taka team made to defeat Killer Bee and took him to Akatsuki's hideout.
however, Karin and Suigetsu were badly wounded so they decided to take a healing break before getting to Konoha. meanwhile in Kumogakure, Raikage was informed about the lost of Hachibi and he got really pissed off so he called out a team of 2 girls (Samui, Karui) and 1 man (Omoi) to hunt down Sasuke cs. meanwhile calamity is heading to Konoha, Akatsuki (Pain and Konan) already arrived at Konoha n started the chaos. the whole village is in danger, all Konoha shinobi is now struggling to stop em. however, casualties are inevitable in a war, Kakashi died from saving Chouji. Again, Konoha lost one of its heroes.
